The temperature control system from Shandong Zhifeng Transformer Co., Ltd. is designed to ensure optimal performance and safety of transformers. It consists of a temperature controller and a PTC temperature measuring element located at the top end of the low-voltage winding, the hottest spot of the transformer. This system allows for precise temperature measurement and control, triggering an alarm signal and automatic tripping if the winding temperature exceeds safe levels due to overload or faults.
For transformers utilizing forced air cooling, the temperature controller regulates the cooling fan based on the winding temperature. The temperature display system provides real-time monitoring of the winding's hot spot temperature during transformer operation, enhancing overall efficiency and maintenance.
Both the temperature control and display systems can be installed at a distance from the transformer body. The lead wire length of the temperature measuring element is limited to <20m for temperature control and <10m for temperature display in a two-wire system, or <100m in a two-wire system with compensating wire.
