In case of overload or faults causing a rise in winding temperature, the controller activates an alarm and disconnects power if the temperature surpasses safety thresholds. For transformers with forced air cooling, the controller governs the cooling fan based on the winding's temperature.
The temperature display system provides real-time monitoring of the winding's hot spot temperature and can be integrated with the temperature control system. Both systems allow remote installation, with temperature sensor lead wire lengths specified as follows:
