Comprising a temperature controller and a PTC temperature measuring element positioned at the low-voltage winding's hottest spot, this system facilitates precise temperature measurement and regulation.
In scenarios of overload operation or faults inducing high winding temperatures, the temperature controller activates an alarm signal and automatically disconnects the system upon exceeding safe temperature limits. Additionally, for forced air cooling, the temperature controller modulates the cooling fan in response to winding temperature.
