Crafted from high-grade stainless steel or aluminum alloy, the shell's protection grade ranges from IP20 to IP23. The IP20 housing effectively prevents solid foreign objects larger than 12mm from entering, ensuring the transformer's safety. Meanwhile, IP23 housing guards against vertical water flow dripping at angles less than 60°, making it suitable for outdoor applications.
Additionally, the IP23 housing facilitates cooling, reducing small capacities by approximately 5% and high capacities by about 10%.
