Light gas is mainly reflected in the operation or slight failure of the gas decomposed by oil rising into the gas relay pressure to reduce the oil level, the open cup of the relay falls with the oil level, the light gas dry contact is connected to send a signal, when there is too much gas in the light gas, the gas can be released by the gas relay nozzle. Heavy gas is mainly reflected in the serious internal fault of the transformer (especially the fault that other transformer protection cannot operate such as inter-turn short circuit), the strong gas drives the oil flow to impact the baffle plate, and the magnet on the baffle plate attracts the heavy gas reed contact, making the contact connected and tripping. The gas relay is divided into on-load gas relay (tubing radius is generally 50mm or 80mm) and body gas relay (tubing radius is generally 80mm).
