The system comprises a temperature controller and a PTC temperature measuring element strategically placed at the top end of the low-voltage winding, the hottest spot in the product. This setup enables precise temperature measurement and control of the transformer.
In case of overheating due to overload or faults, the temperature controller promptly sends an alarm signal, automatically tripping the temperature when it exceeds the safe threshold. For transformers utilizing forced air cooling, the temperature controller regulates the cooling fan based on the winding temperature.
The temperature display system provides real-time monitoring of the winding's hot spot temperature during transformer operation and seamlessly integrates with the temperature control system.
