This system includes a temperature controller and a PTC temperature measuring element strategically placed at the top end of the low-voltage winding, the hottest spot of the transformer. The temperature controller effectively monitors and regulates the transformer's temperature, providing an alarm signal in case of overheating due to overload or faults. It also automatically trips when the temperature exceeds safe limits.
For transformers utilizing forced air cooling, the temperature controller manages the cooling fan's operation based on the winding temperature. The temperature display system shows the hot spot temperature of the winding in real-time, complementing the temperature control system.
Both the temperature control and display systems can be installed at a distance from the transformer's main body. The lead wire length of the temperature measuring element is limited to <20m for temperature control and <10m for temperature display in a two-wire system, or <100m in a two-wire system with a compensating wire.

IP20 housing prevents solid foreign objects with a diameter greater than 12mm from entering and ensures transformer safety. IP23 housing prevents a vertical drop of less than 60° of flow, making it suitable for outdoor operations.
Note: IP23 housing helps in cooling the transformer. Small capacity is decreased by about 5%, while high capacity is decreased by about 10%.
